Adlevia Innovations AB was born from a deeply personal mission: to ensure that children who cannot speak for themselves are seen, heard, and understood. Our journey began when our non-verbal son, living with Joubert syndrome, experienced a lack of safety and understanding in a school environment — revealing a gap that inspired us to act.
Our Purpose
We create assistive technology and human-centered digital solutions that empower children, translate non-verbal communication, and provide safety, connection, and understanding.
Our Story
In February, our son's physical therapist uncovered something no parent should ever witness: staff at his school had fastened his legs with a Velcro strap — to keep him “quiet.”
Our son has Joubert syndrome. He is non-verbal, uses a wheelchair, and could not speak for himself. This had been happening for months. 💔
That moment made one thing clear: children without a voice are often misunderstood, overlooked, or even mistreated — not because anyone wanted harm, but because the world lacks the tools to truly understand them.
From that moment of darkness, a mission was born: to ensure that no child's silence is ever mistaken for consent, and that every emotion is recognized and respected.
Our Vision & Goals
Build a world where silence is never mistaken for consent.
Empower families, educators, and communities with tools to truly listen.
Develop technology that amplifies empathy and fosters inclusion.
Lead innovation that has real, lasting human impact.
Our Morals & Values
💚 Empathy First: Technology should strengthen human connection.
🔐 Safety by Design: Protecting the vulnerable is central to all we do.
🌱 Purpose Over Profit: Real impact begins with real stories.
🚀 Innovation for Inclusion: Every advancement should empower and connect.
We invite partners, innovators, and clients to join us in shaping a future where every child's voice is heard, valued, and respected.
